Grand Rapids, Michigan (PRWEB) February 11, 2013
Pier 33 Marina of St. Joseph, Michigan is preparing for four exciting boat debuts at the 2013 Grand Rapids Boat Show.
The boat show will be held February 13 thru 17, Wednesday thru Sunday at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As Michigan’s largest new boat dealer representing Pursuit, Chaparral and Scout Boats, the Grand Rapids Boat Show is a key event for Pier 33 and this year’s show will give area boaters their first local look at a group of models from Pursuit and Chaparral never before shown at DeVos Place.
Pier 33’s Pursuit display will include the ground-breaking ST 310 Sport, delivery a superbly versatile combination of cruising comfort and rugged big-water performance. The ST 310 features an ergonomically-positioned helm, sheltered by a full-beam hardtop, plus comfortable lounge seating wrapping around the bow area and a spacious enclosed head and changing room – uniquely designed for ease of entry. Powered by a pair of Yamaha 300’s and set upon a sea-penetrating 24-degree hull deadrise, the ST 310 is ready for the challenges of Lake Michigan and more. Also making a debut at the 2013 Show is Pursuit’s C 260 Center Console, another in Pursuit’s long-line of durable, go-anywhere center consoles. There’s lots of fishability built into the C 260, plus comfortable hide-away passenger seating aft, comfortable bow seating and a built-in head compartment. The C 260 includes all of Pursuit’s modern construction technologies such as a fully resin-infused one-piece stringer grid and infused fiberglass one-piece surfboard-style hardtop.
Pier 33 will be partnering with a newly appointed Chaparral dealer, Action Water Sports of Traverse City, Michigan, to bring a bigger and better variety of new Chaparral boats to this year’s show. With this expanded display comes an opportunity to show off some of Chaparral’s most recent introductions, such as the 327 SSX. The 327 SSX is a Great-Lakes worthy bow rider – with over-nighting capabilities, a 10-foot beam, standard cockpit hardtop and a practical full-beam cabin. The 327 SSX will be accompanied by a new entry into Chaparral’s SSX series, the 257, with a Chaparrals’ patent-pending transitional cockpit seating lounge, dual electrically-actuated aft sun lounges, built-in head compartment and an abundance of comfortable seating, lounge and passenger-pleasing extras found in every soft corner. Pier 33’s display will also feature two crowd-pleasing Chaparral Signature cruisers – the 310 Signature and 270 Signature. The 270 offers Michigan boaters the option of trailering to dream destinations and also includes plenty of space for weekends aboard in full comfort. The Chaparral 310 Signature includes a standard hardtop with foredeck walk-thru, twin engines, cabin accommodations to overnight up to six comfortably and the effortless control of Mercruiser’s Axius joystick engine control system.
Each of the manufacturers represented by Pier 33 at the boat show have provided Pier 33 with substantial boat show incentives, such as Chaparrals’ Wave of Excitement Sales Event and Pursuit’s Raymarine Winter Sales Incentive. Pier 33 staff will be ready to assist boat show attendees with all promotional details.
