eyefortransport has released the latest attendee list for the 15th Logistics CIO Forum, taking place in Long Beach, March 26-27.

The event will take an innovative approach to discussion themes, with each topic being broken down into in theory, in practice and interactive segments, guaranteeing in-depth learning during each session.
Presentations will be given by leading members of the logistics IT industry. Day one will open with a discussion from Jeff Jones at UPS on the challenges facing the logistics world with a focus on what IT can do to combat those challenges. There will also be discussions on Using Technology as a Business Amplifier and Pinpointing the Relevance of Social Media to the Logistics Industry led by Anthony DeCanti at UniGroup, Peter Weis at Matson, Darren Cockrel at OHL and more. There will also be the opportunity to network with these speakers and a whole host of other logistics IT peers throughout the day and at the evening reception.
Day two will begin with a discussion on achieving end-to-end visibility, led by senior IT executives from Agility, Kenco and UPS. Speakers will also tackle the issues of data, analytics and differentiation in a late-morning bumper session. Executives from Genco, Active Aero and Dimerco will then wrap up the event with discussion on the future of logistics, leading an interactive session on how the logistics landscape might look in 10 years’ time with technology as its backbone.
