Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 13, 2013
A new Publix-anchored shopping center has broken ground to serve the University of Central Florida and Central Florida Research Park area. Town Park, a development of Boca Raton-based Halvorsen Holdings, will feature a 46,600 square foot Publix and an additional 18,200 square feet of retail when complete.
Located at the corner of East Colonial Drive and Woodbury Road and adjacent to the East/West Expressway terminus, tenants in the new center will be well located in a high-traffic area.
“We believe this center will draw a unique mix of restaurant, service and lifestyle retailers to join Publix in servicing the vibrant and thriving population surrounding Town Park,” said Tim Berg, President of Halvorsen Real Estate Corporation. “With approximately 60,000 students at UCF and nearly 10,000 employees at the Research Park, Town Park has tremendous daytime traffic potential. “
The company recently released stores for lease starting at 1225 square feet.
“We have had quite a bit of activity since our lease offering,” said Berg. “Retailers understand the value of a great location.”
