Through an aggressive social media, email, direct mail and website marketing campaign, TFG will demonstrate to consumers why loading federal and state income tax refunds onto their TFG Visa® Payroll Card is the easiest way to maximize the dollars they keep.
According to a 2011 Visa® CRM Study, only a third of all cardholders are aware that tax refunds can be disbursed to reloadable prepaid cards. What’s more, just 12% of these in-the-know cardholders actually load tax refunds onto their prepaid cards.

Current TFG cardholders can log into their account online or call customer service to retrieve the routing and account number associated with their Visa® Prepaid debit card. With this information, tax preparers can simply mark “Checking” as the refund type on the tax form and fill in the numbers. Cardholders can ensure their refunds are loaded onto the paycard by reviewing their balance online or at participating stores to see when it’s been deposited.
