RS triumphed over other shortlisted companies such as Argos, Thomson and Three, with its sophisticated automated marketing platform.

The award was presented to the company for its success in creating a unique segmentation process enabling highly sophisticated email marketing, including dynamic content in the recipients’ local language (12 languages in total). By increasing the relevancy and sensitivity of communication based on customers’ lifecycle position and key behavioural triggers, RS has improved customer engagement significantly and increased the number of first-time purchasers returning within 30 days by 500%. This fully automated process has also resulted in an ROI of 170:1.
