We’re creating a first-of-its-kind professional interview marketplace where organizations looking to fill a position outside their expertise can connect with individuals that have the skills needed to interview for that competency.

SPARCIN, the interview management software powered by SPARC, has expanded its groundbreaking platform to bring the power of crowdsourcing into the talent acquisition space. SPARCIN is fueled by a community of Contributors who submit and rate real interview questions, which are then available to companies for their interviewing and hiring process. Previously only available to member companies, SPARCIN has opened their community to the public.
The benefits of becoming a Contributor increase along with involvement, which is tracked through badges and a point system called Street Cred. Accomplishments within SPARCIN are shared publicly to boost Contributors’ profiles and build their online reputation as an interviewer. Additionally, as Contributors climb the SPARCIN ladder from Reviewer up to the expert level of Pro Interviewer they are eligible to support company interviews, and even get paid.
“Expanding the crowd of our question pool is the ideal solution to provide our customers with fresh, innovative questions. We’ve kept control of the quality of our questions through our review process and rating system that allows the best questions to naturally rise to the top. With thousands of questions already in SPARCIN, we’ve also developed tools for our users to find the right questions for their candidates and maintain an awesome user experience,” said Jake Benardot, Co-Founder and Product Owner.
“We’ve found a model that’s beneficial for both SPARCIN companies and Contributors. Through gamification and the potential to be hired for their expertise, we’ll be able to truly engage the crowd and at the same time, provide our companies with the best questions possible,” explained Patrick Hutchinson, Co-Founder and Lead Developer. “As a result, we’re creating a first-of-its-kind professional interview marketplace where organizations looking to fill a position outside their expertise can connect with individuals that have the skills needed to interview for that competency.”
During the first three weeks of the launch, SPARCIN is running the “SPARCIN Question Quest” for a chance to win an Apple iPad mini. Each question submitted, accepted and shared will increase your chances of winning. In addition, the first 25 people to submit a question to the SPARCIN question pool will each win a $10 Spotify gift card.
