Two new books are scheduled for release later this year on the topic of Change Management. Both books are authored by Change Management expert, Marianne Carlson, and each one is written for a specific audience within the business community.

Change is inevitable, and it’s accelerating. The winners of the future will be those individuals and those organizations that really excel at managing change.

Two new books are scheduled for release later this year on the topic of Change Management. Both books are authored by Change Management expert, Marianne Carlson, and each one is written for a specific audience within the business community. "Winning the Future" will be released in June of this year, and speaks to the challenges of leading an organization in this era of ubiquitous change. The second book, "Change Happens (But it Doesn’t Have to Stink)" will be released in September. Carlson explains, “ 'Winning the Future' is a book for managers and executives who need to implement changes within their organizations. 'Change Happens' is a fun and easy read that managers can share with their employees. It’s about how to handle changes that occur, whether in one's personal life or one's job.”    

Carlson, whose company, Emcie Systems, has been providing businesses with strategic and managerial advice since 2008, believes that Change Management is the one leadership skill that will be in the greatest demand in the near and foreseeable future. “Change is inevitable, and it’s accelerating,” says Carlson, “and the winners of the future will be those individuals and those organizations that really excel at managing change.” Carlson has focused her efforts in writing these books to address the needs of the business community. Her goal has been to give her readers an edge when it comes to handling change as an individual, and managing change as a business leader.

Faced with declining revenues during the recent economic downturn, many companies have cut back their spending on employee development. But projections for 2013 indicate that many companies are planning to invest more in that arena in the coming months. Carlson’s books will supplement those efforts and help business leaders and their employees develop the skills that allow them to handle and benefit from necessary organizational changes.

Carlson has published two other books for the business community, but "Winning the Future" is her first book on the topic of change. Her previous titles are "Websites for Small Business" and "Ten-Fold Marketing".
