In his latest book, “You Deceived Me: Rays of Hope after Marital Blackout” (published by WestBow Press), author and minister Olorunyomi W. Agbajor offers his advice to singles about how to prepare for marriage, avoid divorce and have a blissful marriage.
Agbajor’s impetus for writing was his own life. At one point his marriage seemed to halt. He and his wife were so disillusioned they felt divorce was inevitable. In their hours of despondency and desperation, God came to their rescue.
An excerpt from “You Deceived Me”:
“No matter, the state of your marriage and emotional disposition right now, as you are reading this book, I want you to know that your story has not yet arrived at its closing stage. There is still hope. Even though your life has become an elegiac verse of sorrows and deception, God’s Word promises restoration.”
Many books offer counsel and instructions from both Christian and secular points of view on how to have a successful marriage. “You Deceived Me” declares that there is one solution, and it is found in the pages of God’s Word.
