Besides the basics, there’s a special ingredient: put love into your cooking, so you’ll love what you’ve cooked
BATON ROUGE, La. (PRWEB) February 14, 2013
In “Simple Cooking for Single Dads: (...and other Hungry Kitchen Chickens)” (published by AuthorHouse), a new book of recipes and cooking advice, Lui Campos teaches beginners step-by-step methods to take their first steps into the kitchen.
What began as a Sunday afternoon experiment ended up in a notebook the Campos children entitled the Measuring Spoon Café. Lui Campos, a single dad for eight years, wrote down in step-by-step fashion how he cooked such dishes as beef stew, baked chicken, jambalaya, meat sauce and others in one of his daughter’s notebooks. He realized that a lot of would-be cooks (single dads, college students or just anybody afraid to try to cook) need a little help with the basics.
“So many cook books assume you know all the terms,” says Campos. “But kitchen chickens don’t!”
“Simple Cooking for Single Dads” is for single dads, but it is also a good book for single moms or anyone who wants to have a tasty home cooked meal but needs step-by-step cooking directions. “Besides the basics, there’s a special ingredient: put love into your cooking, so you’ll love what you’ve cooked,” he says.
