Catapult Technology has won a contract to provide the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA), Office of Strategic Resources, with executive coaching services. The contract was won under the General Services Administration (GSA) MOBIS contract vehicle.

Catapult continues to build its reputation in the expanding executive coaching arena and, on a broader level, strategic consulting. This project is a reflection of our management consulting practice’s growth.

Catapult Technology, Ltd., a mid-tier federal government contractor that provides a wide array of information technology and management consulting services, has won a contract to provide the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA), Office of Strategic Resources, with executive coaching services. Catapult won the contract under the General Services Administration (GSA) MOBIS contract vehicle.

Dr. Greg Mandrake Alan, Ed. D, Catapult’s Program Manager for Executive Coaching, will facilitate interaction with ITA representatives to assess their leadership skills, define and establish leadership development goals, and provide one-on-one executive coaching that helps them meet their goals.

Dr. Alan will provide a variety of coaching services, including a 360-degree assessment, which includes direct feedback from a leader’s subordinates, peers, and supervisors, as well as a self-evaluation. Data gathered from 360-degree assessment is compiled and evaluated to help ITA leaders to determine useful, actionable outcomes.

“As Catapult is positioned at a new agency, we are excited to help ITA representatives build on existing leadership skills and develop new skills that support the agency’s mission and goals,” said Dr. Alan. “As we expand our executive coaching and leadership development services, we further demonstrate Catapult’s leadership as a full-service consulting firm.”

Fred Haggard, Vice President, Technology Solutions, said, “Catapult continues to build its reputation in the expanding executive coaching arena and, on a broader level, strategic consulting. This project is a reflection of our management consulting practice’s growth.” Haggard manages Strategic Consulting under the Technology Solutions division.

The contract with ITA is reflective of trends within the federal marketplace; the changing workforce, including the impending wave of Baby Boomer retirements, introduces new executive coaching opportunities. Succession planning, leadership development, and career development are becoming more of a focus within the government and therefore increasing the demand for executive coaching services that can help influence younger leaders stepping into leadership roles.

In addition to ITA, Catapult has provided executive coaching services to the Department of Transportation and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). This strong past performance contributed to winning the new Department of Commerce contract.
