Unlike Southeast Alaska, the Cook Inlet catch limits remain 2 fish in possession. For saltwater enthusiast, Guth’s Lodge charter boat fishing offers a chance to land a big halibut. Guth’s Lodge’s vessels are large, aluminum, twin engine boats designed for use in the salt water. Guth’s Lodge provides catch processing by where the fish are processed and frozen to take home as luggage or to send home via Fed Ex.
Guth’s Lodge does advise its Halibut guests to prepare for a 12 hour day fishing on the saltwater due to tide cycles. An overnight stay on the charter boat is also possible at certain times of the season due to tides.
