Garden Creamery, the Bay Area's beloved producer of handcrafted, small batch ice cream alternatives, plans to launch a new dessert truck featuring vegan soft serve sorbet at street food festivals in San Francisco, Marin and Alameda counties this spring.

We just loved their product and Erin’s passion for creating it and we are excited to be a part of such a great brand." - Dennis Crow, VehicleSF.

Garden Creamery will debut their vegan soft serve sorbet at farmers’ markets and street food festivals in San Francisco, Marin and Alameda counties this spring once retrofitting and permitting on their new food truck is complete.

The vegan soft serve sorbet will feature flavors from Garden Creamery’s popular grocery store line such as Thai Ice Tea, Earl Grey and Dark Chocolate as well as new seasonal and artisanal flavors including lavender, sweet potato and lemon. The vegan soft serve sorbet will be served up alongside new flavors of frozen mousse popsicles and dessert sandwiches as part of the special dairy-based line Garden Creamery created last year exclusively for sale at events.

This spring will also see the release of Garden Creamery’s brand new packaging, branding, website and truck wrapping all designed by leading design firm VehicleSF. “We just loved their product and Erin’s passion for creating it,” says Dennis Crow, owner and Creative Director of VehicleSF, “and we are excited to be a part of such a great brand."

The truck will open up new revenue sources, says Erin Lang, founder and CEO, and is eager to roll that revenue into expanding Garden Creamery’s grocery store line into Whole Foods in San Francisco. Lang is avidly pursuing the expansion not only for business reasons, but because it will allow her to do more for a cause very near to her heart - raising awareness about ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), which her mother was diagnosed with a little less than two years ago. Once the new packaging hits the shelves in a few weeks, Lang will be donating a percentage of profits to the ALS Association’s Golden West Chapter.

Garden Creamery will be launching a Kickstarter campaign this week to help raise the funds needed to expedite the retrofitting and permitting of the truck. Incentives include everything from $20 Garden Creamery Gift Certificates to $2,500 buy-ins to put a pledger’s name on the side of the truck.
