Waltham, MA (PRWEB UK) 16 February 2013
CloudFloor DNS, the leading international provider of managed DNS services, failover, and domain management, announced that it has launched a new DNS failover feature, 'Simple Failover'. This new feature further expands CloudFloor DNS’s already industry-leading suite of DNS failover capabilities, which helps customers save valuable time and money.
The new Simple Failover feature enables CloudFloor DNS customers to easily setup and manage a simple A/B failover scenario. One example includes an A/B failover between two Internet lines. If one Internet line goes offline, services automatically failover to the second Internet line. This provides no interruption and full continuity of operations of one’s website or web application. Simple failover requires little configuration. For example, it may include just entering your working IP and your backup IP. This launch further demonstrates CloudFloor DNS’s commitment to develop offerings that are easy to implement and use.
"Sometimes our customers do not require full implementations of a DNS failover offering. The Simple Failover feature offers customers another way to minimize downtime and improve their website’s continuity whilst being incredibly easy to implement. We continually update and upgrade our NetMon system, which enables CloudFloor DNS to introduce new and faster DNS failover capabilities to help our customers always remain connected to their online audiences," said Paul Smith, Technical Director of CloudFloor DNS.
