it is extremely helpful for me to feel part of a network and to engage in discussions with other psychologists.
(PRWEB UK) 19 February 2013
The re-launch of the Networking Community of Psychologists in Independent Practice at http://www.ncpip.co.uk has enabled the NCPIP to open its doors to all HCPC Registered Psychologists. Psychologists working in independent practice or wishing to do so will find a wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise amongst the NCPIP Psychologists community. Anyone looking for a Psychologist will find Registered Clinical, Counselling, Educational, Forensic, Health, Occupational and Sports and Exercise Psychologists on the NCPIP Psychologist Directory.
The NCPIP was developed in 2011 for Psychologists by Psychologists who recognised the need for independent practitioners to be able to link up and share support and resources. As part of the re-launch there are a number of new networking community spaces for NCPIP Psychologists, such as forums, live chat rooms, email discussion groups and blogs. There is also a supervisors and mentors directory.
Being part of this community also provides access to a range of professional information and advertising opportunities. Psychologists can advertise their business or they can advertise and search for training events or jobs. Any business or organisation wishing to advertise psychology-related products and services can reach a very targeted psychology audience through the NCPIP. The NCPIP has already formed a number of partnerships with related organisations that provide discounts exclusively to NCPIP members.
The network continues to grow following the re-launch with more and more registered Psychologists across the UK being accessible through the Psychologists Directory. Anyone wanting to find a Psychologist will find Psychologists who offer therapy, mediolegal expert witness work as well as consultation and training on the NCPIP Psychologists Directory. All Psychologists on the directory are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. To find a Psychologist or to find out more about the benefits of membership go to http://www.ncpip.co.uk.
