“The vision of the new Wedding Super Center in Orland Park was to provide customers a greater shopping experience…to better serve all customers of all kinds of special events“, states Industry Consultant, Dale Buziecki.

House of Brides’ principles purchased the new space in 2012 and immediately began a massive renovation of the 20,000 sq ft building. The location is expected to rival the company’s flagship store in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The principles saw an opportunity and acquired the building for its space and vicinity.

“The vision of the new Wedding Super Center in Orland Park was to provide customers a greater shopping experience…to better serve all customers of all kinds of special events," states Industry Consultant, Dale Buziecki.

The Orland Park salon closed the doors of its former location at 15180 LaGrange Road in August of last year and had since moved into its temporary location set in one of the auxiliary spaces of the new building at 16100 South LaGrange Road. The temporary location will remain open until the grand opening of the wedding center.

The new salon itself will house thousands of designer bridal gowns from leading collections. It will also have an extensive bridesmaid department with over 700 different designer styles available. Other departments will include Prom, flowergirl, shoes, accessories and more.

The salon will also feature unique boutiques located within the building, which will appeal to specialized customers. The Diva Bridal Boutique will offer wedding dresses for immediate purchase and special order, exclusively in sizes 18 – 32. The boutique caters to the plus size bride with samples in Women sizes only, private dressing rooms and staging areas, and assisted by expert sales and alterations staff. The first Diva Bridal Boutique opened in Glen Ellyn in late 2011 as the first salon in the nation devoted to the plus size bride.

The new salon will also have a Couture Room featuring Silk and high-end designers. Many of the gowns are one-of-a-kind designs available only at House of Brides.

The Occasion Boutique features Mothers-of-the-Wedding, special occasion, engagement, cocktail and pageant dresses. The boutique will host a variety of sizes, colors and styles with selections available for immediate purchase and special order.

Black Tie Formalwear will have a full showroom at the Orland Park location. Black Tie specializes in mens’ tuxedos and suits for weddings, proms and special events.

The new Wedding Super Center is opening early Spring 2013. House of Brides will release a formal announcement of the grand opening then.

A temporary location is open 7 days a week at 16100 South LaGrange Road. For appointments, call 708-966-5200 or visit Locations & Hours on the House of Brides website.
