New Jersey Hospital Launches Twitter Hashtag as Resource for Health and Wellness

Raritan Bay Medical Center, a New Jersey hospital with locations in Perth Amboy and Old Bridge, announced today the launch of #MyHealthMyLife, a Twitter hashtag that will promote living a healthier lifestyle.

Whether you need to lose weight, quit smoking or lower your blood pressure, Raritan Bay Medical Center will utilize the hashtag #MyHealthMyLife to engage in productive healthcare conversations and provide people with the tools they need to take control of their health and wellness.

“#MyHealthMyLife is designed to engage people in a discussion about living healthier,” said Mike D’Agnes, President and CEO of Raritan Bay Medical Center. “In addition to providing the highest possible care to our patients, our goal is to provide a forum of engagement to allow people to take control of their health and wellness.”

Physicians, nurses and other health professionals will lead the discussions via @myrbmc and share their tips and insights with all participants. The first discussion will focus on weight loss and will be led by Dr. Ayotunde Adeyeri, Medical Director of the Institute for Weight Loss. It will be announced through the hashtag.
