There are several Comic books and Graphic novels coming out in 2013, however, there are few if any that will be more appealing to the eye than Cyrus Ward: Edge of Darkness, which will be published the Summer by Blaque Sun Mediaworks.
The illustration are beautifully detailed and give more of a feel that one is watching a movie as oppose to reading a comic book. According to writer Maurice W, Founder of Blaque Sun Mediaworks, the look of the book is all thanks to the incredible Yuriy Fialko, An artist that he says "has blown him away with every frame".
It was the mature nature and no “flight and tights” approach that lured talented artist Yuriy Fialko to the project. After a time working on Political Graphic novels, he was looking for something more creative and gritty. He read the script and knew Cyrus Ward was just the project he was looking for.
Like many independents, Blaque Sun is launching with the help of Kickstarter, a platform that helped many projects get their start.
Cyrus Ward: The Edge of Darkness, is a sexy, gritty, action pact murder mystery thriller that takes place in the not -so-distant future. Many in the industry are calling it a must read. Cyrus Ward: Edge of Darkness is scheduled to be released this summer, but Blaque Sun promises to release teasers and artwork every month until it drops.
