I found ARQUISTE Parfumeur recently in New York at the Elements Showcase. I was first attracted to the fragrances and then the story behind the brand that Carlos brings to life in each scent. He and his team have a love of fragrance that is contagious.
Montreal, Quebec (PRWEB) February 19, 2013
Launched in 2011, ARQUISTE Parfumeur is one of the newest “concept niche” lines that sets itself apart from the rest by assigning history, meaning and emotion to scent. The name itself is a combination of words that define this collection’s overall concept: Architecture/Arquitectura, History, Art/Artiste and Archive. These are the components involved in the development of each fragrance. Using authentic sources and crafted with only the rarest of ingredients, each scent restores the olfactory experience of a particular time and place, allowing both women and men to unlock personal revelations and experience history in a most intimate way.
“A scent can bring on a flood of powerful and emotional memories at any given moment. I have taken the wearer back into history and yet each moment in history that I have captured with ARQUISTE has relevance in our lives today. We are excited to be at Etiket in Montreal and to be able to offer our fragrances across Canada through their on-line store as well, ” said Carlos Huber, creator of ARQUISTE Parfumeur.
For Carlos Huber, anything is possible, textually speaking. The Mexico City-born architect and historic preservationist has brilliantly crafted a fragrance collection in collaboration with Noses, Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Yann Vasnier that has captured time in a bottle, seven bottles to be precise: L’Etrog, flor y canto, Fleur de Louis, Infanta en flor, Anima Dulcis, Aleksandr, Boutonniere No. 7. These ‘Time Capsules’ transports its wearer back to a specific moment in history.
“I found ARQUISTE Parfumeur recently in New York at the Elements Showcase. I was first attracted to the fragrances and then the story behind the brand that Carlos brings to life in each scent. He and his team have a love of fragrance that is contagious,” said Simon Tooley, president and owner at Etiket.
Etiket, known for its results oriented skin care is expanding its perfume section. Currently they showcase Atelier Cologne, l’Artisan Parfumeur and Penhaligon’s. ARQUISTE Parfumeur is their latest addition as they expand their offering of niche perfumes.
“There is no one in Canada that is really presenting niche perfumes in a complete way. There are so many exquisite fragrances available and we will be expanding this area over the next year substantially, ” said Simon Tooley.
ARQUISTE Parfumeur is available exclusively in Canada at Etiket in Montreal, Holt Renfrew in Toronto, and Barneys in New York, Liberty London, Roja Dove's Haute Parfumerie at Harrods, Jovoy and L'Eclaireur in Paris as well as other exclusive retailers in the USA and Europe.
About Etiket: Etiket launched its first store in December of 2011 as a luxury retail concept located in downtown Montreal. Etiket is establishing itself as a results-oriented skin care resource both in Montreal and on-line while at the same time growing its product categories to include niche fragrances, mineral make-up, bath and body, men’s products as well as hair care, and exclusive beauty products. An online store was launched in March 2012 and long-term plans include opening more stores across Canada.
