AtHomeNet Teams Up With Industry Partners to Promote Education in the Association Management Industry

AtHomeNet to participate in educational forums in 2013; lending their expertise in the field of association communications.

All of these forums help foster discussion on the most efficient ways boards can serve their homeowners and we feel it’s important for AtHomeNet to help meet these needs.

AtHomeNet, Inc., a provider of web-based services for community associations and association management firms, is scheduled to participate in a variety of educational forums at events held around the country in 2013.

AtHomeNet Account Manager Monica Pfeifer will engage in a round-table discussion sponsored by the Wisconsin Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI), at their annual conference on February 22nd in Pewaukee, WI. The focus is technology and communications in the homeowner association industry. After a brief presentation, participating board members and managers will have the opportunity to pose questions and get feedback about how community websites and newsletters can increase the efficiency of their day-to-day operations. In March, a complimentary one-day board certification workshop will be held at Edison College in Ft. Myers, FL where AtHomeNet will participate in a session on Disaster Recovery for Communities. Then, during summer 2013, Edison State College presents the Community Association Managers Program; a series of classes for association managers where they can earn continuing education credits required for CAM licensing. Cyndi Sanders, Director of Marketing, will present June 19th and 26th on “Using Technology to Enhance Your Community”.

Also in 2013, AtHomeNet will once again participate in the Community Association Officer’s Forum, a series of education sessions for board members sponsored by Guardian Property Management of Ft. Myers, FL along with other local firms serving the association industry. For the 14th year, speakers will present information on a wide variety of topics - the latest legislative issues, reserve requirements, communication options, and more. The meetings are conducted monthly from November through March of each year and allow newly elected board members to meet the specific requirements set by the state of Florida to qualify for service on their community boards.
