Mitsubishi Concepts Headed to Geneva Auto Show
Mitsubishi will show off two of its newest concept cars at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show in March. The Japanese automaker will bring out a diesel hybrid SUV called GR-HEV, as well as an all-electric concept dubbed CA-MiEV, which can travel 186 miles between charges. Lacking specific powertrain data and marketing schedules, the vehicles appear to be pure concept for the present moment, both being described in official company literature as “next generation.” The limited visuals available suggest very early-stage concept designs. Honda Expands Market for Fit EV
Honda Motor Co. announced that it would soon offer its Fit EV electric vehicle in New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Beginning last summer, the automaker placed the car in Oregon and California markets only. The Fit EV can travel 82 miles between charges, and is available for lease at $389 per month. The car is currently not offered for sale. A spokesperson for Honda pointed out that the East Coast rollout is part of a planned phase-in for the car, which at present is the company’s only all-electric vehicle. For the complete story, see:

Lexus will be bringing at least three vehicles to the Geneva Auto Show in March; the hybrid IS 300h among them. The company’s F SPORT, plus the latest iteration of LF-LC will round out the trio of stunners the Japanese carmaker introduces to European markets.
