Tidewater Physical Therapy is pleased to announce Diana Brooks, PT, DPT was named Clinical Director of the Ironbridge clinic in the company’s Richmond region.
Brooks started as a staff physical therapist in 2007 and worked her way up through various clinics across the company, including Williamsburg and Brandermill in Richmond.
“She has sincere compassion for people and is very approachable, responsible and leads by example,” said Kevin Dintino, PT, Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Regional Director in Richmond.
Brooks earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in sports medicine from the University of Virginia. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia.
“I always wanted to get into healthcare because, at its root, I enjoy working with and healing people,” Brooks said. “
In addition to providing treatment to patients with general orthopedic and sports medicine needs, Brooks has a special interest in working with runners on gait mechanics, treating pediatric patients and working with people suffering from vestibular and balance impairments.

Founded in 1986, Tidewater Physical Therapy is a physical therapist-owned, independent, outpatient physical therapy practice. Tidewater’s more than 30 clinics are located through Central and Southeastern Virginia. In 2011, Tidewater Physical Therapy expanded its services to include Tidewater Performance, offering personal and sports performance training for athletes and adults. There are two Performance Centers, located in Newport News and Gloucester.
