Keeping up with school work, releasing a single, wrapping up a tape and getting your foot in the door are complex tasks.

A well respected local from White Center, aspiring singer-songwriter Sarey Savy has a reputation for his personality and image. For the past few months, he’s been working on something he values very much. “I’ve been working on a mixtape that would really open my mind into expanding into a much more broad subject. I was going through many experiences from September 2012 to January 2013 that I wanted to share with everybody. I wanted to make music relevant to how people feel. Sounds a little cliché but, it’s true” Savy says.

“Thinking Out Loud” is inspired by Bostonian singer JoJo. “I was recording new material in November 2012 and needed a name that would perfectly fit the puzzle of this project. I heard JoJo one of my favorite artists was releasing a mixtape herself titled Agape with a track called ‘Thinking Out Loud’. That kick started my mind and I immediately wanted to give my mixtape that name.”He released “IDGAF (If I Lose You Tonight)” produced by Mads Aiie in Arhus, Denmark.
