Dialtel has finished development of their Least Cost Routing platform. This will help them to improve the quality of termination for their Voice Broadcasting customers. Instead of relying on one carrier to terminate all of their calls, Dialtel will now spread out their traffic to multiple carriers.
This will put Dialtel in control of their own traffic profile. They will be able to monitor the individual performance of carriers and maintain the quality and price of their routes. Problem routes can be removed while good carriers can be rewarded with increased volume for the routes that perform well.
Dialtel CEO, Erik Scanlan, said in a statement, “We are very happy to finally release this latest technology on our network. Rather than being a slave to one carrier, we are now going to ask carriers to compete for our business. We will monitor the performance of each individual carrier to ensure our customers are getting the highest level of quality at the best price.”
The next task for Dialtel will be sustained packet capture with reporting tools to automate the process of finding problem routes as soon as they become visible. This is another complicated task that will take further growth and reinvestment of capital in order to achieve.
For now Dialtel will watch routes using regularly scheduled packet captures and quality control processes to stay on top of their quality monitoring responsibilities. This will be necessary until more automation can be put in place.
Dialtel provides Voice Broadcasting Services such as Live Transfers, Voicemail Leads, Polls and Surveys, and Mass Notifications. With the addition of multiple carriers to its platform, Dialtel will be able to handle higher call capacity and maintain higher levels of quality control for their customers.
