The I-20 Animal Medical Center is proud to announce their Medical Director Dr. Cindi Welch has received nomination for the annual “My Vet’s The Best” contest sponsored by Pets Best Insurance Company. The winning veterinarian of this national contest will receive a $1,000 award to help cover treatment costs for animals in need. The aim of “My Vet’s The Best” as company founder Dr. Jack Stephens explains is “to recognize the passion, innovation and talents of veterinarians everywhere who make it their life’s purpose to provide high quality care to their patients.”
Within the walls of the I-20 Arlington Vet, Dr. Cindi Welch has a proven track record and years of experience enhancing the overall quality of medicine and patient care. Dr. Welch’s name was enterd into the contest by a loyal client of the I-20 Animal Medical Center named Holly Michel whose family included three Yorkies by the names of Cujo, Carrie and Daisy.
As Ms. Michel wrote upon induction, “Dr. Welch has taken care of our Yorkies for many years and I would not trust too many other people to treat my precious” bubbies”. Cujo was one of the most beautiful creatures that God has ever given to us to take care of. He contracted Cushing syndrome with seizures and some liver damage. Dr. Welch was wonderful in helping us treat him at home. Then we had Miss Carrie. She was such a sweet little tiny thing who developed diabetes and scared us many times with her emergencies. Again, Dr. Welch was there to help us learn about this horrible affliction. That brings us to Daisy. My husband found her on the highway and I believe God sent her to us to keep Cujo and Carrie’s memory alive. Dr. Welch is the only vet I will ever trust to take care of my “bubbies”. God bless her and her devotion to animals.”
The I-20 Animal Medical Center is most proud of Dr. Welch’s nomination as her advanced veterinary skills and proficiencies in various medical procedures including ultrasound, endoscopy and laparoscopy among others has received patient referrals from various veterinary hospitals within the metroplex. The I-20 Medical Center in Arlington is more than proud of Dr. Welch’s accomplishments and dedication to veterinary medicine, as she has proven time after time to be an invaluable asset to the entire medical staff.
