We try to carry a diverse selection of cigars
(PRWEB) February 26, 2013
The leadership and craftsmanship hasn't changed in all that time. Founder Nat Sherman has passed down to his son, Joel, the passion and know-how of making fine cigars, and now a third generation, Laurence, Michele and William, are picking up where their grandfather left off. The family's cigars, with a factory now headquartered in tobacco-rich Greensboro, N.C., can be found in every American state and 40 other countries.
As Nat was famed for saying, "So my cigars are popular with some pretty famous people, but celebrity comes and goes, and the memory of a good cigar lasts forever."
The Townhouse, a 42nd Street landmark in New York City, near Fifth Avenue, still draws an in-the-know crowd who come to sample the finest cigars that the Sherman family can pull from the humidor. Not until Joel Sherman was attending a national sales meeting did he form a mission statement for his family business, which reads in part, "...Full customers' needs by offering quality products that exceed their expectations; create products and services that will enhance the image of Nat Sherman; Continually educate ourselves about our craft and profession..."
This dedication, which also stretches into maintaining a harmonious, respectful, honorable, service-oriented environment, is aimed at forging an evolution that will continue to utilize the manufacturing processes that are time-honored but also incorporate new innovations that will, the mission statement reads, "achieve a return on equity that allows us to accomplish all of the above."
"We try to carry a diverse selection of cigars that our customers have a special affinity for," said Nick Gordon, general manager of TrueTobacco.com. "There are hardly any stateside brands that have a more devoted fan base than Nat Sherman Cigars. He's built that on the back of hard, consistent work and a street-side presence in the Big Apple."
At TrueTobacco.com, customers can find many lines of Nat Sherman. The company sells 100-count Cigarillos (Natural 20X5) made in the Dominican Republic with mild to medium strength tobacco in a Connecticut wrap.
