I love everything about Charleston, it's home

On February 18, 2013, My Positive Perspective aired an episode that featured another talented musician who originally came from the Charleston area. Dan Lotti, lead singer of the well traveled band, Dangermuffin, was the guest on a recent episode that was accompanied by the announcement that their upcoming concerts at the Charleston Pour House will be broadcast live through Kinetic Hifi Internet Radio. Lotti spoke of his return to the Charleston area commenting, “I love everything about Charleston, it’s my home. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to travel extensively for my music, but I always look forward to coming back and playing in the town that helped me get it all started.”

My Positive Perspective host Jason Deierlein asked Lotti about how they come up with their folk type music and how it fits together with the lyrics of the songs. Lotti replied, “When we compose our songs, we like to do it as a collective effort. There are three of us in the band, and we all have different, unique things to add to our songs. That is how we tend to come up with songs that seem to have different stories within the lyrics of our songs.”
