Traditional direct mail vitamin company Australian NaturalCare is entering the digital age by launching a new website selling vitamins online

Health HQ gives customers the tools to find out more about some of the health concerns they may personally be experiencing, and the options available in the vitamins and supplements category

Alongside the eCommerce arm, the website boasts a health information section; “Health HQ” - a collection of tailor-written articles on health categories, concerns and product ingredients like magnesium deficiency, tips on maintaining heart health, and glucosamine.

“There is so much information available about health and wellbeing; we wanted to reduce the clutter for our customers by offering a mix of health news, articles and product information all in one place, and at their fingertips” said Maurice Cicero, eCommerce General Manager at Australian NaturalCare.

“Health HQ gives customers the tools to find out more about some of the health concerns they may personally be experiencing, and the options available in the vitamins and supplements category” Maurice continued. “All of the content comes from our own knowledge pool of 25 years in the health industry.”

The new section includes a blog written by the company’s own naturopaths. “The blog aims to address some of the questions we regularly hear from customers on a range of health topics and popular theories” Regulatory Affairs Manager, Arwen O’Connor, explained. “We provide commentary on topical issues drawn from our own personal experiences in a way customers can understand, leaving out the jargon.”

Customers can chat live with the company’s in-house naturopaths via the website for general health advice if their questions can’t be answered by the articles in Health HQ. Individual advice is also available over-the-phone, from sources of antioxidants and how to increase calcium absorption, the benefits of taking krill oil and much more.

Australian NaturalCare is launching a company Facebook page as another way for customers to engage with the brand. The page will give the brand a platform to share relevant information beyond what they can find in Health HQ; health information from a wider variety of resources carefully curated to bring up to date and useful information to customers.
