Author Christopher Valiton continues his futuristic science fiction adventure in his latest novel “The Moon’s Last Knight” (published by Abbott Press).

The story takes place 100 years into the future, in a world ransacked by wars, leaving isolated populations to dwell in crumbling cities, controlled by greedy moguls or corrupted officials. Gangs run rampant and a curfew keeps citizens on a tight lockdown.

Temjin Moon is the last surviving member of the mysterious Moon Knight society and has been charged with guarding the very secret to human life and preventing dangers that will arise if humanity’s origin is wrongfully unearthed.

Meanwhile, a detective named Mei Ling has been experiencing vivid daydreams about a mysterious society she’s never encountered called the Moon Knights. Trying to piece together information about them, she uncovers a massive plot leading toward human annihilation. Temjin’s life mission will bring the two together after a chance encounter, and together they will work toward revealing a startling truth.

“The central theme of the book underlines the fact that humanity had a grand purpose in this universe once and encourages the future generations to strive beyond the constant squabbling over the same plots of land on Earth and reconnect with that higher calling,” Valiton writes.
