We are not just at the whims of nature, or the whims of our karma, or the whims of whoever is in power and we are not even at the whims of our own sense. We’re not stuck there. We have the right and freedom as God’s children to rebuild...

Somewhere deep in the jungles of Burma, Dave Eubank and the Free Burma Rangers are seeking to continue their mission, their calling in life. According to their website, http://www.FreeBurmaRangers.org, they seek, “To inspire, train and equip people in Burma to bring positive change through acts of love and service.” In a recent two part interview, Bill Heid, founder of Off The Grid News, speaks with Eubank about the mission he is trying to accomplish and why it is so important to him.

In the first part of the interview, Eubank, the founder of the Free Burma Rangers, pulls his truck over on the side of the road to keep his satellite signal from dropping. Eubank starts by explaining the history of Burma and a quick insight to what the Free Burma Rangers are doing to help the people of Burma.

Before Heid can get more information about what listeners can do to help the Free Burma Rangers, Eubank’s satellite phone runs out of battery. Heid takes a moment to reassure listeners that they will get back in touch with Eubank to learn more about his cause and how to help spread the word.

To wrap up the second half of the show last week, Bill Heid got back in touch with Eubank. Eubank starts the show by giving listeners a more in depth history of how Burma came to be in their current state. He states that the lack of democracy among the Burmese and lack of ethnic rights is a big part of the problem. However, Eubank encourages listeners that Burma has been taking steps in the right direction to hold a complete free and fair democratic election.

Eubank shares some prophetic words of wisdom, “We are not just at the whims of nature, or the whims of our karma, or the whims of whoever is in power and we are not even at the whims of our own sense. We’re not stuck there. We have the right and freedom as God’s children to rebuild this world in His image and His way.”
