Enterprise File Sharing/Sync and backup vendor Vaultize adds on-disk encryption to its platform to protect corporate information from potential threat of data leakage through lost or stolen endpoints. With this, Vaultize now ensures that sensitive information remains encrypted on device as well as stays protected during file sharing through its encryption technology performed at source.

File sharing/sync and endpoint backup vendor Vaultize ( launches endpoint encryption – further enhancing end-to-end security of unstructured data and helping businesses comply with regulations, maintain privacy and protect Intellectual Property (IP). With this new feature, enterprises will be able to enforce encryption of important files on endpoints to protect against data leakage in case of lost or stolen devices. Vaultize’s endpoint encryption works in-place and is completely transparent to the users and applications that use the files.

Now with endpoint encryption, the sensitive corporate information remains encrypted on endpoints ensuring protection against unauthorized access and potential data leakage from lost or stolen device. In addition to protection on-disk, Vaultize’s encryption technology used in file sharing ensures that the data is encrypted before leaving the endpoint and decrypted only on the receiving endpoint – guaranteeing end-to-end protection.
