FETT offers small-group conversations with fellow senior financial executives

This is an important forum for CFOs and other financial executives in Atlanta

Financial Executives International-Atlanta has teamed with two of its strategic sponsors, certified public accounting firm Frazier & Deeter and management and advisory services firm Tatum, to further develop and market the Financial Executive Think Tank (FETT) program, a unique collaborative platform, designed, moderated and administered by financial executives.

This initiative places senior financial executives -- controller, treasurer, VP-Finance, CFO and equivalent responsibility -- from Atlanta area companies and organizations into small-group conversations, confidential in nature, with other peer-group members of the financial community. Originally put in place by FEI-Atlanta, Frazier & Deeter and RBC Bank in late 2011 and specifically designed by a charter group of Atlanta financial officers, FETT is holding its seventh roundtable event.

Rolling forecasts, rapidly replacing annual fixed budgets, will be the discussion topic for the next FETT session Feb. 27. Mitch Powell, CFO of The Integral Group, will lead the event, facilitated by Sean Lager, Partner of Frazier & Deeter, and sponsored by Tatum. The group meets from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. for breakfast, discussion and post-event conversation in a private meeting space.

“This is an important forum for CFOs and other financial executives in Atlanta,” said Jim Wanserski, President of FEI. “One of the primary benefits of this joint initiative (with our sponsors) is to assist CFOs in building or supplementing their own network of peers to use as a professional resource; FETT is one of those vehicles and a private, productive discussion tool as well.”

“Finding new ways to support the CFO community has been a top priority for Frazier & Deeter for the past several years,” said Seth McDaniel, Managing Partner of Frazier & Deeter. “The Think Tank fills a critical need identified by the diverse group of CFOs on the FETT advisory board.”

“As the nation’s premier organization providing CFO services, Tatum is delighted to be joining forces with FEI and Frazier & Deeter to offer this forum to the financial executives of Atlanta,” said John McMahan, Managing Partner of Tatum Atlanta.

Financial Executive Think Tank sessions include public, private companies, ranking government entity, academic professors, and not-for-profit senior financial executives.

Each session is confidential, hosted by a senior financial executive, and results are provided to each group, as agreed to by each session’s participants. For registration information, contact or call 404-573-2426. Include name, title, email address, business telephone number, and company name/address. You may also request discussion topics of interest to you and/or your company for consideration.
