Shane Hill, Skoolbo Founder and CEO, was honored with the Social Innovation Leadership Award at World CSR Congress and Awards 2013 in Mumbai, India.

The Social Innovation Leadership Award at the World CSR Congress 2013 is the most prestigious award which an individual can receive for his or her contribution in Corporate Social Responsibility. The World CSR Congress brings over 130 countries under one roof to unite the best of the best and celebrate leadership in building a better society and making a better world.

Upon receiving the award, Shane stated: “It’s most humbling to be awarded in this manner and I thank Dr R.L. Bhatia and the CSR Congress for such an honor. There is so much that needs to be achieved in order for our dream of ending illiteracy to become a reality. You need to look no further than Mumbai to appreciate the magnitude of the issues, but it is inspiring to meet so many like-minded organizations and individuals. Together, this is possible.”
