It has been reported in Lighting.co.uk that the LED and semiconductor manufacturer has beaten its own previous industry record of 54 lm/W, and was reached at a correlated colour temperature of 4401K and 350 mA. The company’s senior Vice President, Norbert Hiller made the results public at its 2013 Strategies conference. He claimed that their SC3 Technology Platform in Cree XLamp LEDs had enabled the result.
