Valeo Marketing, an Internet marketing company in Memphis, Tenn., has launched expanded online marketing packages that provide detailed information on Valeo’s service offerings for clients interested in planning an online marketing campaign.

For Valeo’s managing project director James Hutto, these packages are designed to help potential clients understand the true total cost of starting an effective online marketing campaign.

“We want to help clients understand the approximate cost to run an effective online campaign,” Hutto said. “Unfortunately there are a lot of companies who guarantee page-one Google rankings for $500 a month when that's only small part of an effective marketing campaign online.”

The company has also developed one-time packages to help businesses and organizations assess their online marketing needs. Clients can implement the plan themselves or seek professional help to meet to the recommendations suggested in the firm’s findings

“The one-time packages are often what we would do in the first month of the campaign including analysis, planning and strategy,” Hutto said. “With this service, you can start the planning process for a campaign without the need to commit to a retainer right out of the gate.”

New campaigns begin by determining the budget, the client’s existing resources and overall goals for the campaign. The company then works to determine if the client will need specific services like SEO, online video production or social media marketing. According to Hutto, offering specific packages based on client needs goes against the firm’s traditional strategy for starting new campaigns.

“I was always against putting pricing on our website because I thought that would drive people away,” he said. “Now, I would rather people understand what our services cost so businesses can set realistic expectations for what their campaign would cost and what services they would receive for the price they are paying.”
