MCA launches premier content-based, real-time information and emergency notification system for community residents and officials

Announcing MyCommunityAlert (MCA),, the premier, real-time text and email alert system for community residents and local officials. MyCommunityAlert is a web-based system specifically designed to provide critical information and emergency notification to community residents and local officials so everyone can be alerted to issues that impact their lives. MCA is the only service of its kind that monitors public safety and municipal websites to provide the most complete and updated information available.

Created by a team of experts that includes a law enforcement official with 26 years of experience, MCA provides information via text messages and emails directly to registered users within minutes. The system is specifically designed to keep users informed about anything that impacts their local communities:

Public Health & Safety-lost pets, burglaries, dangerous animals, storm threats…
School & Government-emergency closings, school lockdowns…
Family & Friends-missing children or seniors…
Community Activities and Issues-road construction, gate closings, meetings…

MCA alerts can be sent to an unlimited number of people within minutes, keeping those who need to know in the know. Alerts can be pushed to entire communities or can be tailored intra-community to specific requirements called “sector segmentation.”

MCA is currently in use with more than 5,000 homeowners in Palm Beach County in reputable communities including Versailles, Olympia, The Isles at Wellington and the Wellington Equestrian Club. MCA services for residential communities cost approximately $0.50 per month per household, enabling users to register up to 2 cell phone numbers and 3 email addresses for the price. Customized pricing is available for larger communities and municipalities.

“MCA has provided a wealth of real-time and useful information regarding important matters that impact our entire community as well as surrounding areas,” said Greg Cafaro, President, The Isles@Wellington. “I would strongly recommend MCA to any Home Owners Association as a valuable and useful amenity for their residents.”
In the communities where it has been in operation and tested, MCA has proven itself to be of true value in real-life situations. MyCommunityAlert helped catch vandals ruining holiday decorations. Similarly, in another community it helped significantly reduce car break-ins once residents became aware of the issue and reported incidents to community leaders through their MCA alerts.

“MyCommunityAlert is ideal for HOA’s and property managers who can use it to rapidly inform residents about a wide variety of issues,” said Renee Leibler, Vice President of MCA. “MCA allows for detailed information to be pushed to people who need to know about it. We can even use our own proprietary jpeg link feature to send photos along with a text, which can be essential in the event of a missing person or pet. The information is accurate and delivered within minutes the way recipients want to receive it.”
