Jill Milan, a provider of designer Italian handbags, today announced Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway carried the luxury brand’s 450 Sutter Clutch to an event supporting public education in Los Angeles. Ms. Hathaway carried the Jill Milan clutch to a Vanity Fair- and Chrysler-sponsored celebration of “Les Miserables” in support of The Los Angeles Fund for Public Education, the latest red-carpet appearance to which she has carried Jill Milan.
“Anne Hathaway looked lovely in her short dress and with her Jill Milan 450 Sutter clutch,” said Jill Fraser, co-founder and CEO of Jill Milan. “We certainly wish her well at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony.” Ms. Hathaway is nominated for an Academy Award in the Actress in a Supporting Role category for her role in “Les Miserables.”
Other Jill Milan bags Ms. Hathaway has carried on the red carpet include the Chelsea Evening Clutch she took to January’s National Board of Review awards, and the Art Deco, 450 Sutter and Holland Park clutches for the “Les Miserables” world premiere and screenings in New York and London. She previously carried Jill Milan’s 450 Sutter clutch to the New York and London premieres of her film “The Dark Knight Rises.”
Jill Milan has been the choice of a number of celebrities for recent red-carpet appearances.
