Beta 1.0 version of the potentially game-changing visual based purchasing platform SLYCE Commerce, will see its official launch at the largest global mobile industry event of the year, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 25th, 2013.

Being dubbed the ‘Shazam for Stuff’, the SLYCE Commerce app has been developed to help brands sell more products, in more places, more rapidly.

Using their smartphone, SLYCE will allow consumers to photograph products, whether in a magazine, on a billboard or, alternatively, on their best friends’ wrist and access reviews, pricing, and exclusive discounts of that product, through a seamless user experience.

Users will then be able to immediately purchase the product within the app, with the option of having it delivered or being directed to the nearest available outlet for collection. See it – Scan it – Buy it. The system has the potential to make every item purchasable immediately.

Mobile Carriers to access a ‘SLYCE’ of consumer spend

Negotiations are already taking place with several leading Mobile Carriers who are keen to integrate the system into their existing technology and, by doing so, access commission on all consumer purchases made on their networks, a potentially significant revenue stream which has previously been beyond their reach.

Several brands are already signed to the platform and currently testing initial SLYCE operating software.
