Lafayette, LA (PRWEB) February 25, 2013
Calling all Innovators. Lafayette-owned InventureWorks is currently accepting quality applicants for The Vault, the premier invention-pitch event of the south and part of the week long INNOV8 celebration in Lafayette.
The Vault is a one-of-a-kind experience which enables inventors and entrepreneurs from all walks of life to pitch their ideas and creations to a panel of investors. $150,000 in pledged commitments from InventureWorks’ panel of angel investors will be available for the five presenting innovators.
All innovators are encouraged to apply. The goal is to find the best products and start-up businesses around the country for the Inventure Angels to consider. To streamline the selection process, InventureWorks will quickly assess your product/business and eliminate the ones that do not have potential at this time for funding.
On April 25, 2013 five chosen innovators will take the stage and have an opportunity to share their product/business in a rapid-pitch format to the donors before a live audience.
The Vault will take place at Acadiana Center for the Arts auditorium. 101 W.Vermilion St. Lafayette, LA 70501. Doors open at 6:00 PM and pitching begins at 6:15.
Innovators are encouraged to first ensure that their innovation submissions are protected enough to be presented publicly. If that is not the case, innovators may contact InventureWorks directly. A business plan summary will also be required to pre-pitch.
Full details for entry into the Vault, including step-by-step application instruction list can be found online at http://inventureworks.com/vault/. Deadline for submission to The Vault is April 12.
InventureWorks is a locally owned business that provides resources, consultation and partnership opportunities for entrepreneurs, inventors and individuals who dare to dream big.
