Flare Labs has released a plugin for Infusionsoft that automatically posts detailed transaction information of sales occurring through the Infusionsoft platform into Google Analytics Ecommerce and Google AdWords. While basic Google Analytics tracking of page views is supported by Infusionsoft, until the release of this plugin, there was no way to get transaction data into Google Analytics Ecommerce or Google AdWords. Supplying Google with this data is critical for enabling Google's tools for analyzing online business performance and the automatic optimization of return on investment in advertising.
Once installed, users will notice sales data beginning to populate the Ecommerce section of their Google Analytics account. Users can then easily see what traffic sources, and in what combination, generate the most profitable sales. Traffic funnels with low profitability are quickly identified, letting the user know which parts of their sales and marketing process need the most work.
If Google AdWords is being used to buy traffic, this same transaction data is posted to AdWords. This enables exact return-on-investment in advertising calculations. Users know what ads are generating the most sales, and more importantly, what ads are generating the biggest profits. Online businesses with over 30 transactions a month will be able to use the Google AdWords Conversion Optimizer, which automatically adjusts ad settings to provide the highest possible return on investment of advertising dollars.
The setup of the plugin takes less than five minutes. Users enter their Infusionsoft login credentials, Google Analytics UA ID, and optional AdWords Conversion ID. They are then given one line of code to paste into their Thank You page. Flare Labs also offers professional installation.
