Watertown, MA, February 25, 2013 – Liaison International, Inc., a leading provider of integrated software, services and data offerings for professional and educational associations, universities, and accrediting agencies, today announced that it has named Jim Pluntze as Chief Financial Officer.
Pluntze comes to Liaison after nearly 10 years at NaviSite, Inc., a Massachusetts-based provider of enterprise-class hosting, managed application, managed messaging and managed cloud services, where he was Chief Operating Officer and, earlier, Chief Financial Officer prior to its acquisition by Time Warner Cable in 2011. A key component of his roles at NaviSite was hands-on involvement in the company’s operations and performance, working to ensure a better customer experience.
Michael Behringer, Liaison’s CEO & President, said, “Jim brings to us a wide range of strengths and experience that will provide great value at this time of rapid growth and expansion into new markets. Virtually his entire career has been spent in companies that deliver technology-based solutions and services to business customers, a clear match with Liaison’s vast industry expertise and software. Jim’s consistent focus, across the range of positions he has held, has been on increasing the quality of the customer experience as well as the efficiency of day-today operations, service delivery, infrastructure and internal systems.”
“Joining Liaison at this time is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a very successful company as it grows and expands into new businesses," said Pluntze. "I look forward to working with Michael, his management team and the associates that have built such a successful enterprise."
Pluntze has more than 20 years of experience in financial and operational leadership roles in the high tech industry. Prior to NaviSite he held senior finance positions at Lanthorn Technology, Guardent, Inc. and Razorfish.
He holds an MBA degree from Northeastern University and a BA degree from the University of Washington.
