Rotherham, South Yorkshire (PRWEB UK) 25 February 2013
Vitalife are now certified to sell organic matcha green tea and other organic health products in the UK market.
They were recently awarded certification by the Soil Association to develop and market organic goods and have already celebrated this with the launch of their new organic matcha green tea and organic coconut oil.
The certification process involves displaying stringent controls over product quality and the integrity of suppliers, and also an on-site inspection at Vitalife's head-office and warehousing facility in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Vitalife passed the necessary requirements, and now have certification to develop and market organic products in the UK.
Their first organic product - Organic Matcha Green Tea - was launched last month, and has been received well by customers.
'Despite the fact that all of our matcha green tea is grown in pesticide-free environments, some customers are willing to pay that little bit extra for the reassurance of certification to prove this' explains Vitalife's Managing Director Gavin Edley.
Vitalife also used the new certification to launch two product lines of Virgin Organic Coconut Oil - forming part of their expansion outside of the tea industry, and also their expansion into certified organic goods and health products.
'We have many more organic products planned throughout 2013.' Edley continued, 'With our move into the wider health products market, our new organic certification will prove a valuable asset to drive our business and product range forward and establish our brand even further as an all-natural consumer favourite'.
Vitalife's new organic matcha green tea and organic coconut oil are both available online at http://www.vitalifeteas.com and also in all good independent health food stores throughout the UK.
