Announces Redesign and Expansion of its "Things to Do" Content for Every Town Across America

AmericanTowns, LLC has launched a rolling redesign of, expanding and re-focusing its rich content offering for every town in America. The updated AmericanTowns site presents a more detailed section on “Things to Do” (featured on the Home Page and throughout the site), plus new navigation features and a more user-friendly design aesthetic. As part of the redesign, AmericanTowns will also be introducing additional content surrounding restaurants, concerts and other events, as well as a mobile application in the months ahead.

Drawing from its deep local information across the nation, AmericanTowns now provides each town in America with its own section highlighting great “Things to Do” in and around that town. These “Things to Do” include more than four million arts and entertainment events, top restaurants and cafes, museums and theatres, seasonal activities such as farmers markets and apple picking, community goings-on and volunteer opportunities. Each featured activity directs the user to additional information, similar activities in the area and nearby resources (coffee shops, gas, information center, Wi-Fi, etc.). The updated AmericanTowns also includes a redesigned header and navigation bar so users can more easily locate what they are looking for.
