Pomeroy, a Cisco Gold Certified Partner, recently completed specialized technical and customer support training on the configuration and deployment of this Medical Device Data System (MDDS) that collects, retrieves and transmits medical data which adheres to all FDA regulatory requirements while improving healthcare delivery to a broad spectrum of providers and patients. Pomeroy is one of only a few Cisco-partnered service providers to have earned this designation.

This authorization enables Pomeroy to provide its healthcare clients an advanced, care-at-a-distance technology platform that allows patients to connect with doctors and clinicians for healthcare consultations in ways never before possible. The Cisco HealthPresence technology combines high-definition video, advanced audio and network-transmitted medical data that creates a patient-care environment similar to what people experience when they visit their doctor or health specialist, and allows for collaboration with healthcare providers across multiple locations.
