Peoplefluent®, a leading social human capital management technology company, today announced the appointment of Cynthia Davis, currently vice president Human Resources of The North Highland Company, to its Board of Directors. Having held senior human resource positions in both public and private companies, Davis brings significant domain expertise and a powerful 30-year track record in enterprise software and technology consulting leadership.

Peoplefluent has recently expanded its Board acumen with global business management, technology expertise and consumer marketing with the appointments of Jaime Ellertson, CEO and chairman of Everbridge, who joined the Board in November 2012, and Robert Courteau, most recently president of North American Operations for SAP, and Tom Tardio, CEO of Rogers and Cowen, both of whom joined in June 2012. Davis brings a strong customer and market orientation to Peoplefluent’s corporate strategy and planning agenda.

“In 2012, we focused extensively on engineering and made targeted investments in new technologies to build out our compelling Social HCM Software Platform. Peoplefluent’s award-winning innovation will continue at its fast pace to meet worldwide customer needs,” said Charles S. Jones, chairman of Peoplefluent Board of Directors. “As we focus on the effective, relevant and strategic delivery of our newest suite, and as we expand our investment and innovation agenda for customers, we are very pleased to have the deep HR domain expertise and strong voice that Cindy brings to the Board and visioning dialogue.”

Davis’ vast human resources experience includes expertise related to full cycle recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, benefit administration, employment law, compliance and immigration. She has been a successful executive leader identifying and driving corporate goals, initiating cost-containment strategies and executing elaborate change management efforts. Davis also has proven skill in multi-state, international and federal employment law, including compliance investigations.

Mr. Jones continued, “Cindy has served as a powerful executive leader and I am strongly compelled by her intellect and knowledge. I am also delighted to expand the diversity of our Board to reflect better the broad representation of our management team and the customer base we serve -- HR leadership within 80 percent of the Fortune 100. We note with high regard that in the past decade one of the largest changes to the make-up of the most senior HR officers has been in gender. Today, despite executive leadership statistics in some of the country’s largest companies, nearly half of the most senior roles within HR are held by women. We think it important and appropriate that the HR leaders we serve have a seat at our Board table.”

Prior to her role at The North Highland Company, Davis was the director of Human Resources for CDC Software, responsible for all aspects of the HR function reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, Davis integrated six acquired companies in 18 months, merged 10 U.S. payrolls and benefit plans saving the company in excess of $1 million, created Common Compensation/Incentive plans throughout the organization and was deeply involved in the IPO of the company. Before CDC, she excelled for more than 20 years at Geac, where she had a very successful professional growth track, ultimately leading HR, right up until the sale of the company for $1 billion to Golden Gate Capital in 2006. Davis began her career at Dun and Bradstreet Software. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from West Georgia College.

“Peoplefluent is one of the most impressive examples of partnership and innovation I can identify in the HR market today. This company is strongly supporting the new agenda that HR executives face in meeting the goals and objectives of the C-suite while managing the shifting dynamics of a rapidly changing workforce,” said Davis. “I am delighted to bring my domain expertise and customer view to this new opportunity and am excited to be contributing to important innovation in and impact on our market.”
