On Tuesday, March 12th Culintro ( will be hosting a panel event for restaurant professionals on the topic of Reinventing Yourself & Finding Success, taking place at the Gabarron Foundation (149 East 38th street @ 3rd Ave) in New York City.

Georgette Farkas, Owner/Operator of the soon to open Rotisserie Georgette, Alex Stupak, Chef/Owner of the Empellon Restaurant Group, & Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow of the Meatball Shop will be participating in the discussion. Anne McBride director of the Experimental Cuisine Collective at New York University, and Culinary Program and Editorial Director for the Strategic Initiatives Group at the Culinary Institute of America will be moderating.

The panel will be an insightful conversation for any established restaurant professional looking to switch creative direction during their career. How does one refine their own identity, or carve out a niche within a hugely competitive marketplace? Based on their own experiences, the panelists will discuss how to successfully switch from pastry to culinary, fine dining to a casual concept, and from marketing to cooking & restaurant operations.
