Unigroup, Inc. Honors Paul Melanson of Holman Moving Systems with 2013 Excellence in Sales Award

2013 Excellence in Sales Award represents greatest achievement in sales among all United agents.

Holman Moving Systems, a moving company for United Van Lines in New Jersey and Delaware, today announced that Paul Melanson, CRP, GMS, has won the coveted 2013 Excellence in Sales Award. The award, which is granted by Unigroup, Inc., represents the greatest achievement in sales among all salespersons who represent agents for United Van Lines. The award was announced at the 2013 Learning Conference in St. Louis.

Melanson originally joined Holman Moving Systems in May of 1991 as a national account manager. Since then, he has had a proven track record of success in sales across all business lines, which has led Holman Moving to reach United Van Lines Presidential Sales Award objectives. Equally as important as new business, Melanson's client-centric approach to management and service delivery has substantially increased Holman's client retention rates throughout the years.

In addition to the 2013 Excellence in Sales Award, Melanson has also joined the United Master Club Inner Circle, qualified for the United Master Club eight consecutive years in a row, and has been named National Salesperson of the Month twice. Under his leadership, Holman Moving Systems has won the President's Club Award from 2005-2012, a Customer Choice Award Honorable Mention in 2011 and 2012, and the Customer Choice Award Winner in 1999.

Recently, Melanson served as a guest speaker at UniGroup's International Sales Forum in St. Louis and he also participated as a lead speaker at the 2012 Fall ERC Symposium. He is active in the Employee Relocation Council, the New England Relocation Association and the New Jersey Relocation Council. Melanson is a Certified Relocation Professional and a Global Mobility Specialist. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Syracuse University.
