Vajra Signs Licensing Deal with Viacom Media Networks

In their first year, this NYC-based east Indian/rock fused band, has been lapping one success after another.

NYC band, Vajra, signed a massive licensing deal with Viacom Media Networks, giving the Network permission to play their music on MTV, MTV2, VH1, BET, Spike TV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, TV Land and more.

In their first year, this NYC-based east Indian/rock fused band, has been lapping one success after another. The band already signed licensing deals with The Discovery Network, Showtime and Bravo and Virgin America selected one of their songs, "Erode The Will" for their In-Flight Entertainment Series. The Viacom deal comes right before the band heads down to SXSW to play 4 shows.

Vajra recently released their debut album, ‘Pleroma’, which is available on Itunes, Bandcamp and in CD format at various retailers. Not surprisingly, the album already has been generating major buzz from magazines and music blogs in the US, Spain, Germany, the UK, Norway, Japan, and around the world.
