Splice Machine, a San Francisco-based software company, kicked off Strata Conference 2013 with a bang after being chosen as one of 11 companies to participate in the event’s Startup Showcase. The event will take place this evening, February 26th, from 6-8pm in the Mission City Ballroom of the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Splice Machine, who will be exhibiting at booth P19 in the Innovator’s Pavilion throughout the conference, was selected to demonstrate its Splice SQL Engine™ at the Startup Showcase. A panel of 12 prominent judges will choose three winning companies based on technology, team and offering.
“We are honored to have been chosen as a finalist for the Startup Showcase, and thrilled to be amongst the industry’s thought leaders here at Strata,” said Monte Zweben, co-founder and CEO of Splice Machine. “There’s clear demand for the scalability of the Hadoop stack while leveraging the SQL skills and tools prevalent in the marketplace. We are excited to show the judging panel, as well as our peers, the Splice SQL Engine.”
