Private pension plans have failed many and as a result they have had to start looking for part time or even full time jobs
(PRWEB UK) 26 February 2013
Recent figures from the Office for National Statistics have found that more men are working well past the national pension age. Figures show that 12.2 percent of men in the pension age group are carrying out jobs past 65 years of age and working in senior type roles such as directors and managers. Overall figures, including both men and women found that two thirds of those at pension age were working.
Experts predict that this is due to disappointing private pension plans and increased living costs resulting in those of retiring age struggling to make ends meet and to maintain a living style that they are used to.
