New Eureka® AirSpeed® ONE Packs Powerful Performance and Durability into a Lightweight Upright.

AirSpeed ONE Turbo

Sometimes powerful things come in small packages, and the newest Eureka® upright vacuum is no exception. Eureka’s AirSpeed® ONE weighs under ten pounds, but is proven to clean carpets better than the number one selling bagless upright, according to independent testing.*

As the newest addition to Eureka’s popular AirSpeed platform, AirSpeed ONE offers consumers best-in-class cleaning in a compact design. Its lightweight yet durable frame packs powerful performance with Eureka’s exclusive AirSpeed® Technology, which uses an efficient air path with limited bends and turns to allow more air to pass through the vacuum. The direct air path from floor to dust cup decreases the distance for dirt to travel, which increases airflow to create powerful suction.

“Our consumer research tells us that homeowners want a powerful vacuum to deep clean carpets that can also be easily stored, carried and maneuvered throughout the home,” said Sarah Nuttall, senior manager of brand communications at Eureka. “Our design team took the power of our AirSpeed Technology and adapted it into a slim, sturdy design to meet this consumer need.”

AirSpeed ONE features a low-profile nozzle engineered to fit under furniture and quickly reach the areas where dirt and crumbs linger. The five-setting height adjustment switch gives users the control to deep clean every carpet type – from plush living room carpet to low-pile area rugs. Other features of AirSpeed ONE include a multi-cyclonic filtration system to separate large debris and fine dust to keep the filter cleaner longer, and a washable, reusable filter to help users save money.

“AirSpeed ONE breaks the stereotype for lightweight vacuums, proving that a lightweight upright can be just as powerful and durable as those that are larger and heavier,” said Nuttall. “It has been created, tested and proven to deliver a high-performance clean our customers can count on day after day.”

More than just a carpet cleaner, AirSpeed ONE models also feature an innovative AirSpeed® Airflow Control Switch that delivers powerful, above-the-floor cleaning consumers can feel confident about. This switch allows users to concentrate the vacuum’s full suction power from the floor to the tools, to guarantee a deep clean on every surface. Each model features an on-board crevice tool, wand and dusting brush.

AirSpeed ONE is available in several versions, including AirSpeed ONE Turbo, which includes a Stair & Upholstery Turbo Nozzle for cleaning dirt on upholstered furniture and stairs; AirSpeed ONE Pet, which includes a PET Power Paw® Turbo Nozzle and Pet Dusting Brush, both of which are engineered to grab and remove pet hair; and AirSpeed ONE Reach, which boasts a 40-Foot Reach System, sucking up dirt where other vacuums can’t.

Eureka AirSpeed ONE Turbo retails for $59 at Walmart and Walmart.com and is backed by an impressive two-year warranty. For information and pricing for additional AirSpeed ONE models, as well as other Eureka AirSpeed vacuums, including AirSpeed Bagged, AirSpeed Pet, AirSpeed Zuum, AirSpeed Gold and AirSpeed SuctionSeal, consumers can visit http://www.eureka.com/airspeed or call 1-800-282-2886.

*Based on (a) NPD data for bagless upright unit sales as of November 2012 and (b) independent lab tests using industry standard ASTM F608, measuring embedded dirt removal from carpets.
